My Comment: Homeruns ruled the day as the Boston Red Sox get the series win before heading off on a seven-game road trip. They are still first in the American League East. A very nice homestand for the Red Sox and I hope the away games will prove just as enjoyable.

My Comment: The Red Sox start the day with a loss, but can redeem themselves tonight. Absolutely no luck for Boston in this first game. Ninth inning rally just not enough today, but it was good that they began to get hits and men home together. Hope the team plays better and has more luck in the second game.
