Red Sox Homer To Victory Over Rays, 3 To 2

Teams1st2nd3rd4th5th6th7th8th9thRunsHitsErrors

Rays highlight: Two runs in the seventh
Rays lowlight: Four men left on base
Red Sox highlight: Walk-off homerun
Red Sox lowlight: One fielding error

My Comment: For the second day in a row, the players in the Boston Red Sox dugout ran onto the field in the ninth inning. However, instead of protecting a pitcher from the Rays, it was to congratulate a catcher on a winning homerun. And for the fourth time this season, the Red Sox are at .500. Will tomorrow be the day they break that barrier and have a winning record?

TAMPA BAY: Starting Pitcher: David Price; Losing Pitcher: Fernando Rodney
BOSTON: Starting Pitcher: Josh Beckett; Winning Pitcher: Rich Hill (1)
BOSTON: Homerun: Jarrod Saltalamacchia (8)

Red Sox: Wins 23, Losses 23, Percentage: .500

Next game: Sunday 27 May 2012, 10:35 a.m.PT/1:35 p.m.ET, Tampa Bay Rays, Fenway Park, Clay Buchholz
