My Comments: With the identical number of runs, hits and errors as in yesterday's loss, today the Boston Red Sox win the game and tie the serris at two games apiece. The team came through and got the must win. There will be a sixth game at Fenway. Let's hope it is for all the marbles!

My Comment: One down and three to go! Looking for another sweep of the Cardinals in this World Series. Glad the Red Sos offense was great in combination with the poor defense of the Cardinals. Opposing teams have had an unusually hard time in Fenway Park in the postseason. Whatever helps Boston to another championship works for me!

My Comment: American League East Champions!!! The Boston Red Sox haven't been the division champions since 2007 (and we know what happned that year in October). Not sure I like the slogan "We Own The East" - seems a little over the top. The postseason starts for the Boston Red Sox on Friday 4 October 2013.
