Patiently waiting in my favorite New England sports living bar for the final game of the three game series between the Boston Red Sox and the Toronto Blue Jays to began in Fenway Park. The game is in a rain delay. Hope it can be played. A few people are in the bar. Andrew is working and Mike, the manager, was here for a few minutes. Let the game begin! Well it did begin and has now lasted for two innings - another rain delay was called in the top of the third inning. There is no score in the game. And the game begins for the second time. Rich was here, but he left during the delay. Boston scores!! And so far the Red Sox are doing all the scoring. Keeping the Blue Jays in check. May actually win this series. Boston takes the series!

Texas Takes Boston

BOSTON: 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 3 0 - 3 6 1
TEXAS: 0 1 0 0 0 0 4 2 x - 7 11 0

An afternoon Boston Red Sox game against the Texas Rangers and I am in my favorite New England sports living bar. Andrew is here of course, as is Rich. And there are about a dozen other people enjoying the place. The Rangers have scored first in Rangers Ballpark and Daisuke seems to be in the "walking" mood today. Well, the game is half way through and the Red Sox have yet to score. Boston needs this win to have another six wins, four losses road trip. Texas has increased its lead and still no runs for Boston. Okay, the Red Sox won't be shut out - at least that's something. Of course the Rangers add a couple more runs. Ugh! Just a five and five road trip for the Red Sox. They are now homeward bound.
