My Comment: Just simply an amazing win by the Boston Red Sox against the Seattle Mariners. What a comeback!! The team has the most walk-off wins (11) in the Majors. Fantastic! Hope they are just as wonderful beginning tomorrow as the Red Sox host the Arizona Diamondbacks for a three-game series. Way to go team!

BOSTON: Starting Pitcher: Ryan Dempster; Winning Pitcher: Steven Wright (2)

My Comment: The Boston Red Sox have had long games, but starting a game in one month and ending in the next month (at least on the East Coast) is quite an accomplishment of endurance ;) Anyway it was another walk-off win for Boston and it put the Red Sox back in first place. Boston will be going for the sweep tomorrow.

My Comment: On their sixth attempt, the Boston Red Sox have finally won an extra-inning game! And thankfully, it was not a drama-driven victory. The Red Sox leave Seattle winning two out of the four games. Considering the level of play by the Mariners, Boston should have swept them. Well, the Athletics are next on this road trip and perhaps Boston can sweep them.
