My Comment: It was a ONE day for the Boston Red Sox. One run, one hit, and one error. Too bad it didn't turn out to be a WON game for the team. Five games left in the 2012 regular season for Boston and the question now is - will they end up with at least seventy wins or not? Even though they have played "better" on the road than at home, both the Orioles and the Yankees have much at stake and may be successful in preventing the Red Sox from being spoilers and getting to seventy. So glad this season is almost over.

My Comment: Road trip just prior to this homestand - Boston 6 and 1. This homestand - Boston 1 and 5. Can it be that happiness for the Red Sox is the road? And will they ever be able to win an extra-inning game? Perhaps the three-game series with the Royals will get them back on track before returning to Fenway. Congrats to Will on having a grand slam for his first major league homerun!
