Marlins highlight: Two homeruns
Marlins lowlight: Six men left on base
Red Sox highlight: Four homeruns
Red Sox lowlight: Five men left on base

My Comment: Hitting for the cycle is common enough, but homering for the cycle (albeit with four different batters) has to be rare. Well, it was done tonight by members of the Red Sox in their overwhelming win against the Marlins. Saltalamacchia - solo homer, Middlebrooks - two-run homer, Aviles - three-run homer; Ortiz - four-run homer. Way to win Boston!

MIAMI: Starting Pitcher: Ricky Nolasco; Losing Pitcher: Ricky Nolasco
BOSTON: Starting Pitcher: Felix Doubront; Winning Pitcher: Felix Doubront (8)
MIAMI: Homeruns: Logan Morrison, John Buck
BOSTON: Homeruns: Mike Aviles (5), David Ortiz (18, grand slam), Jarrod Saltalamacchia (13), Will Middlebrooks (7)

Red Sox: Wins 35, Losses 33, Percentage: .515

Next game: Thursday 21 June 2012, 4:10 p.m.PT/7:10 p.m.ET, Miami Marlins, Fenway Park, Daisuke Matsuzaka
