National League highlight: Starting and relief pitching
National League lowlight: Five men left on base
American League highlight: Six hits
American League lowlight: Eight men left on base
My Comment: A shutout in an All-Star game - was not expected. At least David Ortiz did get a single in the fifth. Unfortunately, once again, no home field advantage for the American League in the World Series. The question is, will this be of any conceern for the Boston Red Sox?
National League: Starting Pitcher: Matt Cain; Winning Pitcher: Matt Cain
American League: Starting Pitcher: Justin Verlander; Losing Pitcher: Justin Verlander
