Athletics highlight: Four runs in the ninth
Athletics lowlight: Eleven men left on base
Red Sox highlisght: J. D. Drew's RBI walk-off single in the fourteenth
Red Sox lowlight: Dustin Pedroia's fielding error in the ninth

My Comment: And non-baseball loving people say it is a boring game. Well, they should have been in Fenway Park today and they would have seen a gold glove second baseman mishandle a game-ending double play; a four run lead wiped out; a veteran catcher and a closer ejected; the game go into extra innings; the game retied in the eleventh; and finally a walk-off win in the fourteenth. Whew!! Theatrics and dramatics galore. As much as the excitement surely gives the fans more than they were expecting, let's hope for a less intense game tomorrow and one in which the Red Sox win again.

OAKLAND: Starting Pitcher: Guillermo Moscoso; Losing Pitcher: Guillermo Moscoso
BOSTON: Starting Pitcher: Josh Beckett; Winning Pitcher: Alfredo Aceves (3)
BOSTON: Homerun: Adrian Gonzalez (11)

RED SOX: Wins 32, Losses 26, Percentage .552

Next game: Sunday 5 June 2011, 10:35 a.m.PT/1:35 p.m.ET, Oakland Athletics, Fenway Park, John Lackey
