Red Sox highlight: Andrew Miller's pitching
Red Sox lowlight: Ten men lest on base
Pirates highlight: Two runs
Pirates lowllght: Four errors

My Comment: It was an ugly game, but it was a Red Sox victory. The total number of runs equalled the total number of errors and Boston was fortunate enough to have the majority of the runs and the minority of the errors. After a day off, the Red Sox head into another Park (all the venues on this road trip are Parks) and they will be looking for better results against the Phillies. The Philadelphia series is being seen as a pre-cursor to the World Series. No matter what happens four months from now, Tuesday should be the start of a good series.

BOSTON: Starting Pitcher: Andrew Miller; Winning Pitcher: Andrew Miller (1)
PITTSBURGH: Starting Pitcher: James McDonald; Losing Pitcher: Tim Wood
BOSTON: Save: Jonathan Papelbon (14)

RED SOX: Wins 45, Losses 32, Percentage .584

Next game: Tuesday 28 June 2011, 4:05 p.m.PT/7:05 p.m.ET, Philadelphia Phillies, Citizens Bank Park, Josh Beckett
