Brewers highlight: Two homeruns
Brewers lowlight: Yovani Gallardo's pitching
Red Sox highlight: Tim Wakefield's pitching
Red Sox lowlight: Seven men left on base

My Comment: Another series win for the Boston Red Sox and Alex Gonzalaz had his one thousandth career hit in this rubber game against the Milwaukee Brewers. The Boston Bruins were honored in Fenway Park before the start of the game and there was an en masse ceremonial first pitch. Boston gets to stay put this Sunday and wait for the San Diego Padres to arrive and begin a three-game series tomorrow.

MILWAUKEE: Starting Pitcher: Yovani Gallardo; Losing Pitcher: Yovani Gallardo
BOSTON: Starting Pitcher: Tim Wakefield; Winning Pitcher: Tim Wakefield
MILWAUKEE: Homeruns: Nyjer Morgan, Prince Fielder
BOSTON: Homeruns: Kevin Youkilis (11), Dustin Pedroia (6), Marco Scutaro (2)

RED SOX: Wins 43, Losses 28, Percentage .606

Next game: Monday 20 June 2011, 4:10 p.m.PT/7:10 p.m.ET, San Diego Padres, Fenway Park, Andrew Miller
