Red Sox lowlight: Seven men left on base

My Comment: The game was over at the end of the first inning, though Boston and Houston still had to play eight more innings. Fortunately, it was the Red Sox who were happy with the score in the first inning and stayed happy throughout the game. Boston is now 15 and 7, while Houston is 7 and 15. Interestingly, at the conclusion of this game, Boston's starting pitcher is 5 and 0, while Houston's starting pitcher is 0 and 5. Just a passing observation.

HOUSTON: Starting Pitcher: Philip Humber; Losing Pitcher: Philip Humber
BOSTON: Starting Pitcher: Clay Buchholz; Winning Pitcher: Clay Buchholz (5)
BOSTON: Homerun: David Ortiz (1)

Red Sox: Wins 15, Losses 7, Percentage: .682

Next game: Friday 26 April 2013, 4:10p.m.PT/7:10 p.m.ET, Houston Astros, Fenway Park, Ryan Dempster
