Red Sox highlight: Nine hits
Red Sox lowlight: Five men left on base
Yankees highlight: Two homeruns
Yankees lowlight: Five men left on base

My Comment: No sweep, but Boston has started well this season with thirty-five hits over three games for an average of 11.66 hits per game and seventeen runs for an average of 5.66 runs per game. As John Farrell returns to Toronto for the first time since becoming Boston's manager, let's hope the Red Sox do him proud and play as well against the Blue Jays as they did against the Yankees. Or should I say "play even better"?

BOSTON: Starting Pitcher: Ryan Dempster; Losing Pitcher: Ryan Dempster (1)
YANKEES: Starting Pitcher: Andy Pettitte; Winning Pitcher: Andy Pettitte
YANKEES: Save: Mariano Rivera
YANKEES: Homeruns: Brett Gardner, Francisco Cervelli

Red Sox: Wins 2, Losses 1, Percentage: .667

Next game: Friday 5 April 2013, 4:07 p.m.PT/7:07 p.m.ET, Toronto Blue Jays, Rogers Centre, Felix Doubront
