Twins Trample Red Sox

The road was not kind to Boston today. The Red Sox were shutout by the Minnesota Twins at Hammond Stadium. Unfortunately the game was over in the first inning when Lester gave up four runs to the Twins. That was double the number of runs previously given up by Boston pitchers this pre-season. And the Red Sox hit/run production is declining. The one bright spot is that over these last four games only one Boston error has occurred. Tomorrow there will two split squad games - one at City of Palms Park and one at Charlotte Sports Park - both starting at the same time. Such fun for me! But more importantly, I hope it is fun for the Red Sox and there is a double victory!
