Red Sox Manage Mets, 8 to 2

BOSTON: 3 0 0 0 0 2 1 2 0 - 8 15 0
NY METS: 0 0 0 0 0 0 2 0 0 - 2 7 3

The park is called Tradition Field and today the Boston Red Sox continued their tradition of winning games by decisively defeating the New York Mets. It was game in which there were three errors (Mets), two homeruns (Mets) and one victory (Red Sox). It was Boston's game all the way and the three runs scored in the first inning, from a bases-loaded situation, would actually be all the runs needed for the win. But of course the Red Sox added more runs in later innings. Former Red Sox leftfielder, Jason Bay (signed by the Mets earlier this year) only managed to get on base by way of a fielder's choice. Other former Red Sox players now with the Mets are Alex Cora and Chris Carter. Boston stays on the road for another day. Let's hope it's another win.
