Athletics Rip Red Sox

This is the first extra-inning game of the season for the Boston Red Sox. In the regulation nine innings in Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum, they scored five runs. That equals their highest run production this season (the five to four win over the Angels on 11 April 2009). And this game saw the earliest knock-out of a Red Sox pitcher in 2009. It was only one inning for Daisuke Matsuzaka. Where is Boston's pitching?? Tenth inning - Boston with the bases loaded, David Ortiz at bat and..... THEY DID NOT SCORE! Ugh!! Twelfth inning - Oakland Athletics with the bases loaded on Javier Lopez's three straight walks, Travis Buck at bat, an infield single and....ATHLETICS SCORE THE WINNING RUN! Ugh!! When will Boston get it together?
