MINNESOTA: 0 0 0 0 1 0 0 - 1 5 0
BOSTON: 2 2 2 0 0 0 4 - 10 14 2
In a rain-shortened game at Fenway Park (a mercy for the Minnesota Twins), the Boston Red Sox soundly won the first game of the doubleheader. A victory obtained due to the continued good pitching and hitting power - three two-run homers - of the Red Sox. Kevin Youkilis is definitely on a hitting tear and has been named as Boston's first base representative on the All-Star ballot instead of David Ortiz.
