Red Sox Ruin Yankees, 16 to 11

NY YANKEES: 2 0 2 2 0 2 2 1 0 - 11 15 1
BOSTON: 0 0 0 5 3 1 3 4 x - 16 13 1

Yesterday pitching, today hitting. Three home runs each for the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees, including a grand slam by Red Sox starting catcher Jason Varitek. In several opportunities, Boston even did well and scored runs with the bases loaded. And no matter what happens tomorrow, the Red Sox have won the first series against the Yankees and have exceeded my expectations for this Fenway Park homestand. Wonderful!
