Eight Red Sox Runs And Hits Extend Winning Streak Over Blue Jays

Teams1st2nd3rd4th5th6th7th8th9thRunsHitsErrors
Blue Jays010000000172
Red Sox04000202X881

Blue Jays highlight: One run in the second
Blue Jays lowlight: Jayson Nix's and Adam Lind's fielding errors
Red Sox highlight: Jacoby Ellsbury's homerun
Red Sox lowlight: Jed Lowrie's fielding error

My comment: For the first time this season, the Boston Red Sox have back-to-back wins and can do no worse than a series tie with the Toronto Blue Jays. The question to ask in whether the Red Sox tie the Blue Jays or win the series is which Daisuke Matsuzaka will be pitching tomorrow? I want Tim Wakefield to pitch tomorrow, so can Dice-K prove me (and others) wrong and have the excellent type of outing we have seen in the past? Or is that type of outing only to be seen in the past?

TORONTO: Starting Pitcher: Jesse Litsch; Losing Pitcher: Jesse Litsch
BOSTON: Starting Pitcher: Jon Lester; Winning Pitcher: Jon Lester (1)
BOSTON: Homerun: Jacoby Ellsbury (3)

RED SOX: Wins 4, Losses 10, Percentage .286

Next game: Monday 18 April 2011, 8:05 a.m.PT/11:05 a.m.ET, Toronto Blue Jays, Fenway Park, Daisuke Matsuzaka
