Happy 26th Birthday Jacoby McCabe Ellsbury!!!


Jacoby Ellsbury is a left-handed batting and throwing center fielder. He is the starting center fielder for the Boston Red Sox. Jacoby made his Major League debut with the Boston Red Sox on Saturday 30 June 2007 when he was twenty-three years, nine months, and nineteen days old. The Red Sox played the Texas Rangers that day in Fenway Park and Jacoby started in center field in the five to four defeat. He was named American League Player of the Month for September 2007, he has a ring for the World Series Championship Boston Red Sox 2007, and he currently leads Boston’s single season (2009) stolen base record with sixty (and counting) steals. Jacoby wears number forty-six.
