Kansas City Knocks Boston

BOSTON: 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 1 0 - 1 2 0
KANSAS: 5 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 x - 5 9 1

Well, tomorrow the Boston Red Sox will be going for a split of the four-game series against the Kansas City Royals. Today the Red Sox lost another game to the Royals due to pitching - the shaky Boston starting pitching and the excellent Kansas City starting pitching. Even though the hitting and scoring were lower than yesterday, the run differential in today's final score from yesterday's increased by one. Let's hope that tomorrow in Kauffman Stadium that Boston is able to decrease that run differential into a win for the Red Sox. Joining Boston in the loss column today were the Rangers, which is a fortunate outcome for the Red Sox in the AL Wild Card race. However, the Yankees won today and that increases their AL East division lead.
