Per the notification below, today's Boston Red Sox versus Tampa Bay Rays game in Fenway Park has been postponed because of inclement weather and will be played on Sunday 13 September as part of a doubleheader.

BOSTON -- Friday night's Rays-Red Sox series opener was postponed due to rain.
The game will be played as part of a Sunday doubleheader at noon and 5 p.m. ET.
The start of Friday night's game was delayed by six minutes due to rain before starting at 7:16 p.m. Twelve minutes later, after the Rays had loaded the bases with one out, the tarp was put on the field.
After a lengthy delay, the game finally was called at 9:50. Sunday's game will start from the beginning, meaning the Rays will lose the bases-loaded situation.
