Red Sox Ruin Rays, 4 to 0

Well the second game of today's doubleheader not only had a similar outcome to the first game, but the second game actually had a better score. The Boston Red Sox shutout the Tampa Bay Rays in their last encounter of the season and have their second sweep of this current homestand in Fenway Park. Five straight victories and counting. The Red Sox and Rays will not meet again until 2010, as the Rays have been eliminated from postseason play - the Red Sox have not. Oh and yes, the afternoon was quieter in the bar than in the morning. Before the start of game number two, the Eagles fans left, happy it seems. And I headed home after the second game began, because apparently the game was blacked out in this area for some reason. Guess having having a double dose of the Red Sox is too much for some satellite/cable providers (must be Yankee fans)! Boston has their last regular season day off tomorrow and then Tuesday begins the final push of the remaining three weeks of the season. Postseason - we're on our way!
