Not as an exciting a win in Fenway Park today as the last victory there for the Boston Red Sox, but scoring steadily, one run at a time over the course of the game, is as effective as any dramatic end-of-game walk-off (though the winning run was due to a walk). There was a little cheering during the game - Ortiz hit his first homerun of the season (earlier than last season) and gave Boston the lead over the Baltimore Orioles. David used a different stance at the plate and it could be a major factor in his hitting this season. Looking forward to more from Ortiz and the Red Sox tomorrow.
