Red Sox Twice Twins, 6 to 3

BOSTON: 1 1 0 0 1 0 0 3 0 - 6 10 0
MINNESOTA: 0 0 2 0 0 0 0 1 0 - 3 9 0

Even in a team sport such as baseball, sometimes one man makes a difference. For the Boston Red Sox that difference was three runs and a win against the Minnesota Twins. And the man making the difference was Boston newcomer Jeremy Hermida. Playing left until Ellsbury returns (probably on Friday), Hermida batted in the winning run; actually he batted in three runs! So, after this second game played in the new Target Field, the series is tied at one game apiece. For Boston, the 1,2,3,4 of the game was as follows: first win for Lackey, double (game winning) for Hermida, third save for Papelbon, and fourth homerun for Pedroia (team leading). The series tiebreaker will be played tomorrow. Let's get over .500 Red Sox!
