Well the Boston Red Sox have gone from first place to fourth place in four days. Now can they reverse the trend and go from fourth to first in four days? This third game of the initial season series was one of excellent starting pitching for both Boston and the New York Yankees. For the most part they kept the hitters in check. However, Boston's relief pitching fell short and the Red Sox suffered their second loss of the season and first series loss against the Yankees. Will this year be Problem Papelbon instead of Perfect Papelbon? Such a letdown from the celebration of Opening Night. This was a short stay at home, as the Red Sox head out on the road to begin a series against the Kansas City Royals on Friday. Perhaps the road will be kinder to Boston than Fenway Park was. Let's rule the road Red Sox!
