Red Sox Top Twins, 5 to 3

MINNESOTA: 0 1 0 0 0 2 0 0 0 - 3 10 0
BOSTON: 0 0 0 0 3 0 0 2 x - 5 8 0

No double digit hitting for the Boston Red Sox today in City of Palms Park, but they did come away with the win over the Minnesota Twins (who did have the double digit hits). Certainly encouraging was the fact that Boston had the bases loaded in the fifth with one out and finished out the inning with three runs. Good! It was a final five inning outing for Lackey before the regular season begins. And he only gave up one run. And tomorrow will be the final game at City Palms Park for the Red Sox. Then they will begin their travel North.
