Boston Blasts Baltimore, 7 to 6

BALTIMORE: 0 2 0 0 0 1 0 0 3 - 6 17 0
BOSTON: 0 0 0 0 1 0 6 0 x - 7 9 1

Yesterday's slow and steady became today's fast and furious as the Boston Red Sox homered their way to a win over the Baltimore Orioles. A total of five taters (two by the Orioles and three by the Red Sox) flew out of Fenway Park giving the fans a little more excitement as they enjoyed today's win. Boston has now won its second home series. Somewhat worrisome is the fact that the relief pitching has given up three runs in each of the first two games of this series, resulting in closer games than would have been expected going into the late innings. Relief pitching: shutdown the opponent - do not give them hope. The Red Sox will be going for a sweep of the Orioles tomorrow - let's shoo the birds away.
