Red Sox highlight: Twenty hits
Red Sox lowlight: Nine men left on base
Indians: highlight: Shelley Duncan's two RBI single
Indians: lowlight: Mitch Talbot's pitching

My Comment: The Red Sox handily win the rubber game and the series over the Indians. Boston now has a new hitting high for the season and will look to see that production continue when they meet the Tigers tomorrow. Can Boston not have the usual hitting letdown after a game such as this? Hope the momentum stays strong. Special mention today of Carl Crawford who went four for four. More movement in the Boston lineup for Crawford who batted sixth today? Decisions, Francona, decisions.

BOSTON: Starting Pitcher: Jon Lester; Winning Pitcher: Jon Lester (7)
CLEVELAND: Starting Pitcher: Mitch Talbot; Losing Pitcher: Mitch Talbot
BOSTON: Homeruns: Dustin Pedroia (3), Carl Crawford (3), David Ortiz (10), Jarrod Saltalamacchia (4)

RED SOX: Wins 27, Losses 22, Percentage .551

Next game: Thursday 26 May 2011, 10:05 a.m.PT/1:05 p.m.ET, Detroit Tigers, Comerica Park, Alfredo Aceves
