Twins highlight: Danny Valencia's homerun
Twins lowlight: Three errors
Red Sox highlight: Fourteen hits
Red Sox lowlight: Six men left on base
My Comment: Five more runs, two more hits, and one less error than yesterday's game for the Red Sox. Although the Twins did manage to put runs across, I am much encouraged by the hitting Boston accomplished today. Of the Red Sox batters, only Varitek didn't get a hit, but he'll have another opportunity tomorrow.
MINNESOTA: Starting Pitcher: Carl Pavano; Losing Pitcher: Carl Pavano
BOSTON: Starting Pitcher: Daisuke Matsuzaka; Winning Pitcher: Daisuke Matsuzaka (3)
MINNESOTA: Homerun: Danny Valencia
BOSTON: Homerun: Adrian Gonzalez (4)
RED SOX: Wins 16, Losses 18, Percentage .471
Next game: Monday 9 May 2011, 4:10 p.m.PT/7:10 p.m.ET, Minnesota Twins, Fenway Park, Josh Beckett
