Red Sox highlight: Clay Buchholz's pitching
Red Sox lowlight: Dustin Pedroia getting hurt in the eighth
Indians highlight: Justin Masterson's pitching
Indians lowlight: Justin Masterson's missed catch

My Comment: You are allowed to intentionally walk a batter when the first base is open. Especially important to do so when that batter is a hot hitter, there's a runner in scoring position, and it is a close game. Please remember for next time. One interesting occurrence of the game - Buchholz and Masterson have almost identical game lines, with Clay getting one more strikeout than Justin, but pitching one third of an inning less. Guess Clay should have stayed in for at least that extra third - might have made a major difference in the game.

BOSTON: Starting Pitcher: Clay Buchholz; Losing Pitcher: Daniel Bard (4)
CLEVELAND: Starting Pitcher: Justin Masterson; Winning Pitcher: Joe Smith
CLEVELAND: Save: Chris Perez
BOSTON: Homerun: Carl Crawford (2)
CLEVELAND: Homerum: Asdrubal Cabrera

RED SOX: Wins 25, Losses 22, Percentage .532

Next game: Tuesday 24 May 2011, 4:05 p.m.PT/7:05 p.m.ET, Cleveland Indians, Progressive Field, Josh Beckett
