Red Sox highlight: Two homeruns
Red Sox lowlight: John Lackey's pitching and throwing error
Blue Jays highlight: Rajai Davis' hitting
Blue Jays lowlight: Nine men left on base

My Comment: Not much positive to say concerning this two-game series - Red Sox losing both games and still below .500, Ellsbury's hitting streak stopped at nineteen, and pitching that, well, isn't pitching. The only good news from today's game is that Tim Wakefield is now the oldest active player in MLB and he is the oldest player ever for the Boston Red Sox. And as befits his brief outing today, Tim did not disappoint. Boston has a day off tomorrow to regroup before encountering the Yankees in New York on Friday. Perhaps the 13th will turn Boston's luck around.

BOSTON: Starting Pitcher: John Lackey; Losing Pitcher: John Lackey (5)
TORONTO: Starting Pitcher: Jesse Litsch; Winning Pitcher: Jesse Litsch
BOSTON: Homeruns: Adrian Gonzalez (7), David Oriz (6)
TORONTO: Homerun: John McDonald

RED SOX: Next game: Friday 13 May 2011, 4:05 p.m.PT/7:05 p.m.ET, New York Yankees, Yankee Stadium, Clay Buchholz
