Red Sox highlight: Clay Buchholz's pitching
Red Sox lowlight: Ten men left on base
Yankees highlight: Russell Martin's homerun
Yankees lowlight: Joba Chamberlain's pitching

My Comment: The Boston Red Sox had opportunities to blow this game wide open, but failed to do so and stranded ten men on the bags. Despite the good outcome, Boston can not afford to leave runs on the bases - let's hope for better results in the next two games - on second thought, for the next one hundred plus games. On individual merits, Adrian Gonzalez leads in RBIs with 31 and Jacoby Ellsbury leads in stolen bases with 12. I suspect those numbers will increase by the time Boston says Bye-Bye to the Bronx. Good start guys!

BOSTON: Starting Pitcher: Clay Buchholz; Winning Pitcher: Clay Buchholz (4)
NY YANKEES: Starting Pitcher: Bartolo Colon; Losing Pitcher: Bartolo Colon
BOSTON: Save: Jonathan Papelbon (6)
BOSTON: Homeruns: Adrian Gonzalez (8), Kevin Youkilis (6)
NY YANKEES: Homerun: Russell Martin

RED SOX: Wins 18, Losses 20, Percentage .474

Next game: Saturday 14 May 2011, 4:10 p.m.PT/7:10 p.m.ET, New York Yankees, Yankee Stadium, Josh Beckett
