Well, Terry Francona answered my question from yesterday, regarding David Ortiz, by taking him out of the Boston Red Sox lineup today. J. D. Drew is batting in Ortiz's third spot and Rocco Baldelli is the Designated Hitter and he is batting sixth. This is Boston's first series against the Seattle Mariners this season and it is a three-game set. Drew had three hits, but the Red Sox weren't able to garner a win at Safeco Field. It is Boston's third loss in a row. Additionally, this is the fifth straight game in which the team scored exactly four runs. Why are the Red Sox experiencing a four-run barrier? Very strange. The runs have been scored in different ways and in different innings. Only two of these five games have been won by Boston. And Kevin Youkilis has been on the disabled list for the last four games. Aha! The power Youk is needed.
