David Ortiz homers!!! It was homerun derby night at Fenway Park for the Boston Red Sox and none more welcomed than Papi's first longball of the season. His homerun drought streak is finally over - the first one since Thursday 16 October 2008. Five hits went yard, with four of them in the fifth inning. Two homeruns for Jason Varitek. No errors! The second win in a row against the leading Toronto Blue Jays and a good run producing outing for the Red Sox. Looking for the sweep tomorrow. And defensively, Jacoby Ellsbury tied a Major League record with twelve putouts in center field. The last one to do that was Lyman Bostock with the 1977 Minnesota Twins.
