Well, today did turn out to be a different sort of wild game between the Boston Red Sox and the Minnesota Twins than yesterday's. Homeruns were flying and managers and catchers were ejecting (courtesy of the home plate umpire). And the Red Sox were winning. The game was won in the sizzling seventh - second homerun of the day for Jason Varitek and both starting catchers and teams' managers were tossed by Todd Tichenor in their respective defensive half of the inning. In the end, Boston splits the series with Minnesota. This is the last visit to the Metrodome for the Red Sox this regular season. Boston continues on the road to the Toronto Blue Jays.
