Blue Jays Batter Red Sox

BOSTON: 1 2 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 - 3 4 1
TORONTO: 1 0 1 0 0 1 2 0 x - 5 14 0

There was a theme to this second game of the three-game series. It was a number theme and the number was three. The Boston Red Sox have hit another run production wall. They have scored exactly three runs in each of their last three games. Three Red Sox batters (one-third of the lineup) were responsible for all the Boston hits today. And the Toronto Blue Jays had over three times as many hits as did the Red Sox in this game at Rogers Centre. Let's hope that three is the charm for the Red Sox tomorrow and that they salvage a win against the Blue Jays.
