The current road trip for the Boston Red Sox winds down in a three-game series against the Detroit Tigers. Continuing from their win on Sunday against Toronto in Rogers Centre, the Red Sox have started off with a win in Comerica Park. Although Boston only had one homerun this game, they were able to score runs by getting hits and by getting hit. However, Papelbon will surely give me and others physical distress this season - ninth inning, three on, tying run at the plate, no outs and the next three batters all go down swinging!! Unbelievable! Had imagined a different outcome to this game, which was realistic given Papelbon's recent closings in which homeruns occurred. Glad my imagination did not turn into reality. And congratulations to Terry Francona on his five hundredth win as Manager of the Boston Red Sox. Now on to the next championship!
