No sweep for the Boston Red Sox today, but they have won the four-game series against the Detroit Tigers. The game was a good pitching duel that did not end in Boston's favor. Some recent additions to the Red Sox team were in the lineup - Kotchman, Reddick, Woodward - getting a chance to play. This was a short stint in Fenway Park for the Red Sox. They are back on the road and are off to Texas to take on the Rangers - currently Boston's closest rival for the wild card position. After Texas, Boston heads to Toronto before returning home.
