NY YANKEES: 2 4 0 0 6 3 1 0 4 - 20 23 1
BOSTON: 1 0 0 0 3 3 0 0 4 - 11 12 1
Ugly, Ugly, Ugly!!! I am wordless. What words can I write that will reflect the horror of this game? Boston Red Sox return to Fenway Park and are utterly defeated by the New York Yankees. The Red Sox valiantly tried to overcome the multi-run deficient, but were woefully unable to complete the task. They can only play better tomorrow. One celebratory note - Jacoby Ellsbury stole his fifty-fourth base and is tied with Tommy Harper for the most steals in a season for the Boston franchise. And despite this loss, Boston is still in first place in the AL Wild Card race.
