Red Sox Reduce Orioles, 18 to 10

BOSTON: 4 2 1 7 0 2 0 1 1 - 18 23 0
BALTIMORE: 0 0 6 0 1 2 1 0 0 - 10 15 1

A sweet, sweep Sunday! The New England sports living bar was full of happiness today as the Boston Red Sox swept the Baltimore Orioles in Oriole Park. Boston has started this road trip well. Although it wasn't a happy day for Red Sox starting pitcher Buchholz, the Boston batters had a great day with season high hits and runs. There were several bases-loaded situations and Boston came through with runs scored. For Josh Reddick, called up from the minors a few days ago, his happiness today was hitting his first homerun of his major league career. Even though he was not part of the slugfest, Ortiz did get on base via a walk and had an RBI for his jaunt. Not one pitch was thrown today by Tim Wakefield, but nevertheless, it was a day of happiness for him. Tim celebrates his forty-third birthday today. Have a happy day Tim! Boston will attempt to continue the happiness when they play Tampa Bay for two games beginning on Tuesday. Let happiness prevail!
