Boston Trumps Toronto, 6 to 5

TORONTO: 0 3 0 0 2 0 0 0 0 - 5 10 0
BOSTON: 0 0 0 3 2 0 0 1 x - 6 10 0

Papelbon was scary (bases-loaded, one out) today, but he came through and kept the win for the Boston Red Sox against the Toronto Blue Jays. However, Beckett may actually be scarier with the number of homeruns he has been giving up in his recent starts. Whatever the problem is, he has to make the adjustment to regain his effectiveness - he is needed to get the Red Sox to the postseason. Fortunately Boston is still hitting well and this three-game series has started on a good note. In Fenway Park tomorrow (no rain please!), the Red Sox will go for the series win.
