Dustin Pedroia is a right-handed batting and throwing infielder. He plays second base for the Boston Red Sox. Dustin made his Major League debut with the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday 22 August 2006 when he was twenty-three years and five days old. The Red Sox played the Los Angeles Angels in Angel Stadium that day and the first hit of his major league career was a single. Dustin has been named or won: American League Rookie of the Year 2007, Boston Red Sox World Series Championship ring 2007, American League Most Valuable Player 2008, Gold Glove Award 2008, Silver Slugger Award 2008, American League All-Star 2008 and 2009. Dustin wears number fifteen.
