Red Sox Bust Blue Jays, 10 to 9

BOSTON: 0 4 0 2 1 0 0 3 0 - 10 12 0
TORONTO: 0 1 1 1 2 2 0 2 0 - 9 13 2

Hits and runs! Runs and hits! Red Sox win! What a slugfest of a game between the Boston Red Sox and the Toronto Blue Jays in Rogers Centre. Everyone on both teams who came up to bat had a hit - does not happen often. All of which means that the pitching was not dominant today for either team and neither starter is a pitcher of record. With all the hitting and scoring, hope the Red Sox are not "batted out" after today's exertions and can continue scoring runs to put together a substantial string of wins. On a positive note, the Texas Rangers lost today and now Boston is tied with them for the AL Wild Card.

There is a new member of the Red Sox. Dustin and Kelli Pedroia increased their family with the birth of their first child, a boy named Dylan. Welcome Dylan Pedroia to the Red Sox family!!! =============================================
