Red Sox Astound Angels, 17 to 8

LA ANGELS: 0 0 0 3 0 1 0 0 4 - 8 12 1
BOSTON: 0 3 2 2 0 7 3 0 x - 17 20 1

Wow!!! Great game Boston Red Sox!! I had hope that the Red Sox would regroup after being swept this past weekend, but I didn't anticipate such a power display against the Los Angeles Angels today. Fenway Park was excitement plus! Almost everyone had a hit and even with the four Boston homeruns, it was Lowell who had the most RBIs. Even if it is not official, having Mike platoon with David just might be a good strategy. Now if they can just avoid their usual no hitting outing the day after a major hitting game, that would be terrific. The only worrisome aspect of the game was the fact that Schoeneweis gave up four runs in the ninth inning, while it took Buchholz over five innings to give up the same number of runs. Not what one expects from relief pitching, but it is happening too much with Boston. Keep up the hitting Red Sox, it is your one saving attribute. Loved the win!
