Congratulations Terry! Your one thousandth game as the Boston Red Sox Manager is a victorious one and the Red Sox are on a three-game winning streak. Hurray! And no matter what happens tomorrow in Fenway Park, Boston has won the series against the Los Angeles Angels. Homeruns made a return to the game today and the Red Sox had two of the three longballs. Good pitching again from the Boston starter and reliever. Lackey was terrific against his former team. And Pedroia made a "gem" of a throw to first. Things are looking good and coming together for the Red Sox. They are back at .500 and can improve on that with a sweep of the Angels tomorrow. Good preparation for the upcoming weekend.
