BOSTON: 0 1 0 1 3 1 0 3 0 - 9 13 0
NY YANKEES: 5 1 0 0 1 0 0 0 4 - 11 13 0
Today Yankee Stadium became an amusement park with the main attraction being the roller coaster on which the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees rode and which was driving the fans of both teams crazy. Up and down and back and forth and up and down. How does Boston go into the ninth with the lead and lose on the only two homeruns New York batted while Boston had five of them during the game? The Red Sox should not have lost this game. the most frustrating aspect to the season so far in never knowing if all the pitching will be good, all of it bad, or if one part is not able to get the job done. Sometimes it feels like the Red Sox are on a roller coaster everyday - back and forth with each pitcher. That said, I would like to see Tim Wakefield back in the rotation. Need to do a shake up of the status quo. In the end, today I was not amused.
