Red Sox Rake Angels, 11 to 6

LA ANGELS: 4 0 0 0 0 2 0 0 0 - 6 9 2
BOSTON: 0 0 2 0 5 4 0 0 x - 11 11 0

And the four-game series with the Los Angeles Angels ends in a sweep for the Boston Red Sox today in Fenway Park! Just what Boston needed to get back on track after being swept by Baltimore. It was a long game, but it's a preview and a good momentum for going into the weekend. Boston has been consistent in hitting this series - having eleven hits in each of the last three games. Let's hope the consistency continues. Such a much better outing for Matsuzaka than his last one. Improved overall pitching for Boston this series. Now the Red Sox will have to keep this level of play to be successful over the next three games. Looking for another Red Sox sweep!
