Red Sox Rest Yankees, 9 to 3

NY YANKEES: 0 0 0 2 0 0 0 1 0 - 3 7 1
BOSTON: 0 1 5 1 2 0 0 0 x - 9 10 0

Finally! The Boston Red Sox did manage to win a game against the New York Yankees and for the third game in a row in Fenway Park, the losing team scored three runs. And this time it wasn't the Red Sox. It was a balanced game for Boston - pitching, hitting, and defense - all the pieces of the game did their part well. The Red Sox need to keep everything working together and the wins will come more regularly. Boston is back at .500 and remains at home for the next three days. Good things will happen before they hit the road again.
