Sox Soak Marlins

At the City of Palms Park, the Boston Red Sox hosted the Florida Marlins in the first of two Spring Training games between these two teams. The Sox began the scoring with two runs in the bottom of the second inning. It wasn't until the top of the fifth inning that the Marlins were able to reply to the Sox runs with two runs of their own. And in the bottom of the fifth, Boston put three more runs across the plate. Florida scored the last run of the game with one run in the top of the seventh inning. The Red Sox won the game five to three.
